Really like the plush feel of this shoe. It is something that you will instantly feel when you put on the shoe. For someone who are looking for soft and squishy feel, can't go wrong with this one. But 1 problem for me, is the width of the shoes. I wear my TTS US 8 on Rebel v4 and More v4, and they fit totally fine. But it seems I cannot go with TTS on 1080v13. Wide version is not available in my country.

As someone who’s 6’8”, and 290lbs, running hasn’t been my strong suit, seems my shoes were a big problem (no pun intended). The ASICS Gel Kayano 31 are awesome for me! Even though I don’t NEED the stability, the cushion takes so much pressure of my joints. My pace improved a whole minute after wearing these the first time!

Unfortunately from all shoes I used in the past 6 years the pegasus were always the shortest live. 5-600km and they were gone.. feels like running in socks.. expensive and not sustainable

What Hoka would you recommend for 6 mile walks?

Where do you strike the ground when running? Also which one would you recommend for racing 10 km , the Adizero SL2 or the Asics Noosa Tri 15? Thank you. I am a front foot runner.

I don't pay for Strava as it has nothing I need that isn't in the free version. For route planning and live tracking I use Garmin Connect which is free.

Balega socks are the best running purchase I've made. I'm slowly turning my sock collection into all Balega socks and I wear them for everyday use just because of how comfortable they feel (slowly because of the price!)

I understand that the insole in the SL2 is glued in. Do you think it’s removable so you can use orthotics?

Shoes seem cheaper in the UK than in France. A lot of "cheaper side" recommendations (Nike Pegasus, puma nitro, etc.) are not cheaper than others here. I am sticking with Asics at the moment even if I'm curious and would like to try some other brands.

Hi Ben, do you recommend for first timer runners that'll join on half marathon? That doesn;t have much budget to buy those carbon plated racing shoes.

I had a 1 level spinal fusion in December and I’m cleared to run again next week. I was thinking of getting the NB 1080 for extra cushioning. Or would another New balance model be a better choice? Before I always had Nike Pegasus.

I was about to ask but the answer came later in the video. A shame they are classic Adidas narrow A recommendation for at test would be the New Balance Venom. An absolute gem. I know you run that music trail but you really should give it at try

Hey Ben, where do you see the SL2 against the NB Propel V4? Since the propel v4 is most of the time in sale right now (~80€), this could be another great pick!

Mine just arrive picked them up for £99 can’t wait to take them out. Lots of hype about this budget friendly daily. I had to go a full size up to get the fit right, found them short and narrow in my normal 9.5

An absolute beast! First run yesterday and I loved the shoe! Best daily trainer out there. Nike wake up, the Pegasus compared to this doesn't even seem like a running shoe

I think that's how the Boston should be... it is really a newer version of the old Boston lineup... before the rods and the nonsense!

Did ~1500km in SL, upper still in excellent state, outsole rubber worn through around toes, midsole foam visibly deformed but overall extremely happy with price and quality. I didn't expect it to last that long and I think I will be able to do at least another 100-200km in it. If SL2 is as wide and as comfortable as SL it will be first option for sure.

Years ago I left Adidas cause they shoes went narrower every new model by Adios. The leg was like in a vise. I have flat foot, needs more space. I have 12 UK size too. Euro 46-47 depends manufacture.
